there are berries locally, apples too - we have alot of wildlife like foxes, badgers, owls, woodpeckers, grass snakes slowworms etc. Lucky to live with countryside one side and sea the other, grankids love it

bit more of an update, lots of VERY small parts added to the deck, slowly starting to work my way up the structures. Still plenty to add yet trying to keep it as tidy as i can (paper ship newbie) but its slowly coming along :bulgeeye:

ive done the Black Pearl (a while back) as a plastic kit, but did as much detailing as i could - when i did the rigging i coated the cotton with pva once i put it in place, which helped some. ill try this again with the railings i think, and see how a trial run goes - failing that im thinking...

so the groin part is done, relatively easy by comparison to the leg, the only thing to add will be 6 pistons to bolster the leg/groin joint once im happy with the pose. I think ill get the other leg done next - complex but ill be able to sort the pose out and i can look forward to the relatively...

it seems to get around here alot.....who do i have to bribe*ahem*talk to about borrowing it? I feel its only fair being that there are those of us who have to struggle to build 'actual' card kits and not show photos of real things 'shrunk' to size........:bowdown:

And so here it is, main structure of 1st leg all done, ready for some base painting (ive just got to do the armour plating/guards) ill be moving on to the groin/hip joints then other leg before cracking on with the body. As it stands atm its around 17cm from base of feet to top of hip...:eek...

im sure some of you guys are specialist miniature engineers.....i bet the famed 'shrinkray' has been doing the rounds again :surprise: this is some serious next level work, congrats :CHEERS:
