    wow im quite happy with keeping covid to a once in a lifetime experience, ironically we picked it up at a hospital appointment lol - we were lucky/careful enough to avoid it for the past 4 years but copped the variant that is currently rife in our area.     Wild Berries

    there are berries locally, apples too - we have alot of wildlife like foxes, badgers, owls, woodpeckers, grass snakes slowworms etc. Lucky to live with countryside one side and sea the other, grankids love it

    bit more of an update, lots of VERY small parts added to the deck, slowly starting to work my way up the structures. Still plenty to add yet trying to keep it as tidy as i can (paper ship newbie) but its slowly coming along :bulgeeye:

    ive done the Black Pearl (a while back) as a plastic kit, but did as much detailing as i could - when i did the rigging i coated the cotton with pva once i put it in place, which helped some. ill try this again with the railings i think, and see how a trial run goes - failing that im thinking...

    And so here it is, main structure of 1st leg all done, ready for some base painting (ive just got to do the armour plating/guards) ill be moving on to the groin/hip joints then other leg before cracking on with the body. As it stands atm its around 17cm from base of feet to top of hip...:eek...
