So sorry for your loss.
My late night "building partner" was also lost several years back. She liked to chew on my tweezers or sleep around my neck during builds.
I never got a pic of her during those timres, but have a clear mental picture...

In many ways, given the placement on the ship and the history of the construction of the Titanic, this was the heart of the ship!

I feel your pain regarding doing the Merchantman, with all those pipes! I have been trying to scratch build one for quite some time...when time permits!!! About a pipe a year!
