well, thats the best option! only the dome could be a problem! if i see it right had the dome of the original studio model also aztec pattern, but the views of the CGI model didn´t show it! maybe Doug had forgot to add as he showed it!?

well, i have really no problem with it! as i see it from the metaseq lines on the picture you had planed this model allready bigger than 1/1700! and btw i designed this model before Doug Drexler posted the views! i used the views of the Phoenix-variant from Ex-astris...

    Trek: Nebula Class Design Thread

No Skip, no sarcasm! just facts! i mean the Nebula, not the Sovereign! for the Sov i know 2 variants from Zosho and 1 from another guy (you know who ;) )! the small one from Zosho was good to build for me, the big i didnt tried! The other game converted model has intersections and is a bad...

well, Skip, you are not so far away from the truth! The idea was based on a F16-model (i guess it was a F-16) with Kitty-Camo at an expo in Germany!

    Star Trek: Enterprise:- Di-Whale's D'Kyr - micro(ish) build log

yep, it´s not my easiest model, but if you finish it, it is worth the effort! I still wonder that some guys can put 3 or 4000 parts on my models! as i can see you do now coloring and it looks much better now! Hint: give the flaps on the bending edge also a bit paint! ;)

    Star Trek: Enterprise:- Di-Whale's D'Kyr - micro(ish) build log

first: good start but aou should try edge coloring! the model looks than much better! second: the model was designed for paper with approx 160 g/m²! if you shrink a model you must also reduce the paperweight! maybe 80g/m² is better, but not 200g! thats like tank steel!

Klingon Bird of Prey from "Enterprise"

well, after alot builds of Klingon ships is it not so easy to create a new stand! the problem is also, that this model is very small and had not really a point to put it on a stand! the wing should be also movable and the stand should not better look like the model! so that was the best solution!

Klingon Bird of Prey from "Enterprise"

thanks! the NX-01 is my reworked version of Clever´s original http://cleverpapermodel.com/startrek/nx01nx02/ sadly was the printout a bit too "green", but a reason to build it again! ;)

Klingon Bird of Prey from "Enterprise"

now the forum is new and i can also here introduce my latest creation! D-Whale's Kardashian, sorry Cardassian.

well, the problem with the "real" lenght of Star Trek ships is simple! I designed the ship with reference length of something over 370 meters! 3 or 4 years later they changed the length to 481 meters devil so that the scale is not really 1/1700, but possible!

    Babylon 5

for that i will really looking forward! the actually downloadable papermodel is more a "cardtoy" (Jaybat´s words)! i guess i know this "original model" what you have and i also had my hands on it, but it was very very complex and i have many other projects in work! So i hope you do a good job...
