    Normandy SR2 - 3 FOOT MODEL!

Well, that's what I'm doing here with my post... looking for a friend here from zealot who can convert it for me. I'm not asking that someone should convert and redistribute the file. I'm just asking for a personal favour. No one will be harmed... and I posted my question intentionally...

Model of meritorious mention Sulaco 1:430 scale

Indeed. I have the luck to be the site manager of a small printing company, and my parts are digital offset printed. It is very good to be able to use different weights of paper for the parts, so I can choose the best for each part (250 g/sqm for parts which form the structure, 160 or 120 g/sqm...

Model of meritorious mention Sulaco 1:430 scale

Hi fellows, since December 2010 I'm building Jan Rukr's amazing 1:430 SULACO papermodel (http://www.sulaco.cz/), and I thought it is time to share some pictures, now that I finished the bow section (which is 1 meter long!). The antennas are all strengthend with carbon profiles, so they won't...

USS SULACO by SKODA/ Jan Rükr / 1:320 Tuning

It's really simple: Print all the model parts twice, glue one of those prints onto thicker cardboard, and cut those panels out to glue them on top of the build part (made from the second print). That way you can add a lot of depth to the model. And if you want to add even more print it 3 or 4...

    USS Sulaco / Aliens

Hear, hear... I just finished my "antenna array" (that was a tough one! So many thin parts that have to be reaaaaally straight!) and will start with the middle section next week. Progress will definitely be faster there with all the huge boxes.

It can be found and downloaded in the archive (library) of UHU02. Search the forum here to find out how to get access to that library, it is explained here at Zealot.

    USS Sulaco / Aliens

Thanks, Jan! The delay is no problem for me, as I'm behind your published groups anyway. As long as the model will be finished in August 2012 I'm happy - I want to show it at the "Darmstadt SpaceDays 2012" (http://www.spacedays.de) then.

I build internal, form-giving frames from the front-end and the aft-end of each section, that way they fit together perfectly. But your solution is very nice, too.
