Mo problem guys, "share among yourselves", like Mike Myers used to say on SNL (or was it "talk among yourself" :roll: ) Note: of course the gun is of a different kind that installed on Oregon, but I think would just look better. :P

What I've discovered is that it is not so much not gluing the slots as keeping them wide that helps. It makes sense to me - tight slots introduce "bad" stresses in the elements. So I keep them wide and loose and glue them. Of course, everything what Michael says holds true.

Hey Steve - your gun barrels are great but don't stick them in every damn thread - we do have some sections for vendors, you know. 8) This thread is a great tutorial of Scorpio's techniques - let's keep it this way.

As usually with my test models, I'm experimenting with papers. Most of the parts were printed on Hammermill 110lb cardstock. But I've also used Epson Matte Heavyweight for some parts. It can be seen where, as those parts print with lighter shade of gray (even though it is the same gray...

Yeah, I'm not alone. BTW - I met Jeff during one of the ship modelers gathering in NJ. Although he is not a card modeler, was quite interested in our ways of building models. He just became associate editor of Fine Scale Modeler 8)

Hi guys I appreciate what you are doing here with your card models. Of course I don't condone destroying your models by any means. But you need to give Kajtek some slack- it's just grass to him - the sharp wire parts on your models. It's easy to confuse the two. :wink: Julia

Hi Barry The last pics look great - there is some kind of drama in them, I don't know. The "oddly placed AA gun" is a practice loading machine for 12.7 cm aa guns.
