need to paint ramp and airlock (already pre-assembled) also trying to mimic the really bright and colorfull scenes (the director really went to town when the series went from b&w to color) .....ohhh the pain

...need to make the hydroponic garden and paint the tiny figures i have. i made a hatch door and have to also paint the airlock. i'm planning on displaying it 3 ways...on planet surface (as in pics), landing gear down and in flight over planet. i,ll make the landing gear and attach it to a ring...

.....couldnt find a correct size bubble....so i made one. the handle of my cutting blade was the correct diameter so i experimented with some plastic packaging. by gently heating the plastic AROUND the spot i was pushing i found i could form a bubble....just make sure its fairly thick plastic...

time to paint....still not glued..looking for a top bubble and some kind of led for the base....might have to use something like a toy fire engine spinning light.

thats the main body.......going to paint and pre-assemble but not glue.....still have to put windows in
