as I don't have a clear rod underhand I'll try with the flutes that I just bought. The idea is definitely to make the craft look like it is flying I'll also need to do something for the bottom of the base. About the welding rod, I don't weld so I wouldn't know but isn't that metallic, not clear?

No it is fairly easy and it is only 3 pages. You do have to guess how to put it together though. To do so the pictures of the assembled model on newobmij's blog are of great help.

thanks for the rotation, as usual it is more the modeler than the model which is a problem. If you look at the template, many parts are glued to the main hull using tabs. The way it works is that the part will be for instance in the shape of a pyramid without a base. The bottom of the pyramid...

I don't think you come out bad, it is a legitimate warning, that glue has use but not for everything. For the photomount you know for how long I have been doing paper modeling (not a year yet), which means I don't have the required 2+ years of experience, I hope I wont have bad surprises
