Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4 Trop by Quest (1:33)

Very nice job. Especially with all the fit mods you had to do.

Saab J 35 Draken by Fly Model (1:33)

For a kit that was difficult to build, you did a heck of a job. Hats off!

    Douglas X-3 Stiletto

I recently purchased the X-3 in fond memory of my old plastic Lindberg kit that I built when I was young. This particular aircraft did not reach the Mach speeds it was intended for, due to the limited power of jet engines in those days, but it provided valuable research data on the use of...

S.M.S. Schleswig Holstein, GPM, 1:200, Full hull

Great job so far. It's fummy how modern ships have resorted back to a similar bow structure.

    JSC 1:400 USS Helena

Great build! I'm bummed because the Intrepid is undergoing restoration in Bayonne and won't be available to the public until Fall 2008. I've yet to visit it and I work in NYC every day! I'll have to visit the USS New Jersey in the meantime.

    Panzer IF Tracks

Thanks Charlie. I'll have to see if I can apply it to my GPM firefly or Modelik Scorpion, Both of which are at the bottom of my pile due to my dread of treads.

    New Orlik release

I have the civilian version from Roman (still waiting to be built), so I don't know what is included (bombs or torpedoes) on the military versions. The civilian version contains 5 1/2 pages of parts and 1 1/2 pages of diagrams, and includes a cockpit. It is in 1:48 scale, but looks like it would...

    Card on wood ship

Great idea! I haven't built any wooden ships (save for a few scratchbuilt ships-in-bottles), but I recently purchased a couple. One is a solid hull for practice, and the other is the plank on plank style. The hull looks very realistic. Your figure head is coming along very nicely. It's amazing...

    Bristol Beaufighter T.F.Mk.X

Josve, Yes, the total thickness should be 1mm. Also, your cardstock weight is fine. Sumato, It's good to know that the Meteor builds up well. I've been looking at it for a while but was going to wait until I finsih the AVG P-40.

SMS Rhein/SMS Mosel - Free Model Competition

Looking good! Has anyone built the Tijger, Smerch or HMS Kite/Staunch? I'm looking to build one of them.

Having just finished the mortar boat, I'm very interested in your build. I'm looking to buy one of the kits but I haven't decided on which one yet.
