Remember me? :) Continued to assembled bogies Connected all the parts and closed with front panel Now it was time to put a skin on the frame. It is one big part that overlaps from all sides

Well, i did a mistake - i glued two plates 246 and 249 on narrow side. It was obvious for me, because the width was the same, but the right side is the lengthy one. Already corrected it. Sorry i confused you.

Finished bogie frame parts. A lot of lamination here Here you can see that detail 248 was rounded on one edge to make slim corner And all parts are ready to be assembled together

Thanks everyone for positive feedback  Assembled upper springs bed. You need to glue a ring from two pieces: inner and outer. So i bent them and glued together asymmetrically, which gave a little tab to close the ring. Also spent several evenings to cut bogie frame parts At this...

Thanks again for you amusing comments :) One more step is made - spring seat with volute suspension spring. There are six, one for each bogey. I made one ring where spring will enter at top, so i can know the diameter spring must be rolled. (There no marking or explanation ho to roll it)...

Thanks to all :) Next part was suspension lever. A lot of lamination here to make a very detailed part. And again a lot of repetitions. In this picture you can see that i didn't cut the parts all the way, so i can touch edges with paint in comfort way. Here is conveyer process of...

Thanks mijob, Boris and Zathros I continued with wheel arms. This are rubbing plates on which suspension levers seat and move. And last are connecting hubs. They join two arms together and eventually we got 12 pairs of wheel arms one for each wheel. Arms finished and i want just to...

So, it was a busy period last month, so time for modeling was reduced. Nevertheless i continued to build in small portions. As i mentioned before, i moved on to bogies. The designer went nuts here and designed them with almost every detail as in real thing. A lot of work done, a little to show...

Good luck and don't give up! Remember the Stormtrooper on Speeder bike i build? When i did final photo session to completed model, one light plate accidently fell on the model and all the front of speeder was ruined. But it is paper and it can be fixed. So I fixed it and no one notice since. You...

And just to give you sneak peek - this are all the parts for suspension (bogies and roadwhees). So there will be a lot of repeated parts and operations in assembling.

Bogey mounts. Simple details, but there are a lot of bolts to glue. The other side of them i already did in the beginning of hull assemble. Also, drawings aren't clear about how to glue it on main body (bad choice of grey drawings color). I figured out eventually: first you must glue part...

Next are idlers. They very similar to roadwheels, just bigger. So now it was "training on cats" and later i'll must to build 14 more. All parts are cut And this is a middle stage of assembling, so you will see how i decided to put together parts. You need to pay attention to the axes...

Thanks Zathros For any of you, who wondered what are those ribs on drum casing - those are reinforcing ribs, so the casing won't band under tension power of moving track. Thanks for this info to fellow comrade on local forum. And i continue with front sprockets. Those are with interesting...

And here i start another big stage in the model - suspension+wheels+tracks! Tracks already done and waiting aside, so it's a half of assembling... Actually it's a half of whole model, if you count by parts ;) I started with drive shaft casing. Spend 2 evenings to assemble those and in the end...

Thanks Micah! Another small detail - front fenders. Nothing special, just to watch for straight angles when attaching.
