    Small Model Dilemma

Yes that is the similar process but on this small of scale. This isn't some 1:24th scale thing going on this is like tiny...like Warhammer small. If this has been attempted I like to see proof. Google isn't giving me crap.

    Small Model Dilemma

-Bump- Here's something to chew on. I am trying to make fully 3 dimensional troops in a 28-30mm scale, fully detailed and using only paper and cardstock. Has anyone attempted this before?

    Legal issue

Watched the movie, I read my history books and that part using Chinese and Japanese quates in the same sentence made no sense to me either. THAT IS A DISHONOR! You should now commit seppuku.

Well someone would argue that these are big companies that make millions yearly and wouldn't bother with a single person with some talent. Au Contraire... it is copyright for a reason. It does not matter if it is one person or a small firm they can ding you with a cease and desist order if...

    Small Model Dilemma

I'll give it a try. It'll be a little strange using that instead of making things by hand from all these years. It's like going from manual transmission to automatic. You reach out for that gear shift and it ain't there and stomp on the floor board looking for that clutch. (Yes I'm guilty of...

    Legal issue

I wasn't going to do any such thing here. It was a simply an inquiry of something hypothetical that I may not even pursuit to find out for myself now that I'm beginning to understand the heavy legal issues involved.

    Legal issue

I know there are several threads related to this topic but this is a different question a little more direct. What would be an infringement if say I made models from a game series such as Halo and started to sell them on ebay, would that be an infringement? Here is the catch though I...

Would you play a game with paper miniatures?

Well this is interesting... I play games with paper miniatures often and here is a little secret. 90% of the models I use in miniature games such as warhammer, flames of war and others are my own as proxies or stand-ins. I take the advantage that at first glance many mistake them as the real...

Is there anyone from North Carolina here?

I wiped my feet, may I come in?

Thank you for the encourgement I'll need to find a comfort level first. I will say this though that many of you outclass me in the quality department which is even more disparaging on my part.

    Small Model Dilemma

Valmy's work is very impressive indeed and I like his methods in model construction. A lot more refined than my own to say the least. Tirick's work is an awesome combination of high tech and conventional designs. Yeah I think I have my work cut out for me in the quality department.

    Small Model Dilemma

I lack the fancy computer tools that many of you have to build your models so I have to do 99% of my models purely by hand. That being said I have tried at card modeling 3D card model infantry, not 2D or that 2.5D, fully 3D for wargaming. Building vehicles is pretty easy but something...

I wiped my feet, may I come in?

I'm Experimental Designs or just call me ED. I have been modeling with paper since I was a small boy and it's been a hobby that I have continued off and on in my later years. Recently I have been trying to incorporate my talent into wargaming but this attempt has not been without its...
