@Rhaven Blaack I understand the studies problem. I'm taking some time out from a masters in theoretical quantum mechanics. It's not the easiest subject but it's worth the effort. Good luck.

Hey guys, Just to let you know this project is still underway. I've been very busy in the lead up to christmas so things are moving very slowly. As soon as I have something worth showing off, I shall post some pictures.

@bigpetr Yeah, I'm kinda not looking forward to that part of the build. That's a lot of greebles. I think scratch building bits like the rotary is the way to go, but that'll just add to the build time. It' going to be a long process.

@bigpetr due to the updated files resulting in a larger model, I am printing at 400% of original. I'm hoping to put plenty of detail in but we will have to see. Family life taking priority with a wife and 4 children. I will hopefully be able to post another update soon. Thanks again. :bowdown:

@bigpetr I was thinking of having interchangeable dishes on my Falcon, is it ok to use your ep7 radar dish instead of making my own?

@zathros I'm planning on using maybe balsa or luan as previously suggested. I don't want it to be too heavy as it will be quite large but it will definately need something extra. Thanks for the advice, I really value everybody's input as you all have a lot of combined experience.

Ok time for a quick update. I've been playing with some more scaling and I'm almost there. This is makino falcon at 450% against uhu02 cockpit at 48%. Not too far apart. I think a couple of test builds of just the outer shell and I should have it. thumbsup

Can we get this as a tag under Tonino's name instead of just "member"? I think its only fair to let everyone know the truth.
