Last final things to do, glue the doors on their hinges....

Then glue the head to the picture of the body! Almost done! :-)

...and add some printed plants to cover the base of the gate making it blend in more with the background.

Then glue it all together...

...to make something for the glued-on toe to stand on that will make the picture I added of a T-Rex body look like it is coming out of the picture.

After that, time to fold the edges of the background...

...and add some hinges to them!

Then "just" fold and glue some gate doors...

...but in the end it was worth it! :-)

...the text itself. So many small tabs to fold...

The result turned out ok! But I still needed to add...

I then started with the sign part of the gate, totally ignoring the outline of the tabs I had done before and just cut what seemed right. Like I said, I have never done anything like this before, trying to make a design, so it was a lot of trial and error! :-)

Those small fires were tricky to make, but with time anything is possible!

Next, step, trying to make patterns for my gate. Basically I just printed parts of my background with added tabs. Some I made before the printing, some I just drew on with a pen. I needed both the parts of the gate and the parts on that gate to be constructed. My first ever try at doing my own...
