Star Wars - Y-Wing building thread

You got that right, there are some small parts to do. Finally I managed to finalize this part with all the details. The side which connects to the cockpit will be greebled when I glue everything together, because some parts of the detailes are hidden by the "droit seat". (see picture 2)

Star Wars - Y-Wing building thread

Top of this part is ready. Side parts still to do. I really wish I had the skills and also the patience to make the details true to the original. Unfortunately both are not sufficiently available. Not enough for an exhibition but for my small collection it could be a nice addition.

Star Wars - Y-Wing building thread

Yeah, you got that right. I have the plastic model of Rebel at home, but since I am aware that I can't manage to get all the details right, I do it without paying attention to the original. If I remember correctly, you once did a Y-Wing. Unfortunately I didn't find any pictures, but I know...

Star Wars - Y-Wing building thread

Hi guys, Another fighter from the Star Wars universe that is still missing in my collection is the Y-Wing. It is hard to find a good model of this bomber. I found this version on my harddisk and decided to use this version and extend it a bit. (That worked out quite well with the Phantom...

Star Wars Moldy Crow - Building Thread

Thx to all. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with the result. Actually I like ready-made models, but in the meantime it is also fun to pimp a less detailed model. Like in this case or the Tie Phantom, which is not available in a better version.

THX Rhaven. .....and the final pics. This version is a rather simple model, but with additional details it becomes an eye catcher. (As does the Tie Phantom.) There is the v 2.0 by Milleniumfalsehood, which is much more detailed and still on my todo list.

Star Wars Moldy Crow - Building Thread

Thx for the cheering words. I made 4 layers of the wing holder, which together with the layers with the texture are about 0.5cm wide. They are a bit narrower than the original parts - but I like them better because they are not so massive. It was a bit tricky to find the exact angles for the...

    Launch when ready!

....and one serious question: Maybe I missed it. What is the size of the model compared to the Viper Mark II of Uhu02? Because I have already built the model - would be great if the two would fit together.
