Coffee Table Ho and N Lay-out

With FlexTrack the sliding rail should ALWAYS be on the inside of the curve and you should cut off the extra with either a standard "jigsaw" or with the Atlas SuperSaw (SuperSaw works better IMO). You should use the rail joiners, then solder the joints. The joiners will more or less line up...

New to HO & What Engine!?!

That actually looks really cool. I'd have to stick to about 22-24 radiuses due to my IHC passenger stuff, but that'd work for me too!

    Rivarossi Allegheny

HAH! Eat that! Big Boy RULES! ...*ahem*... Anyways, yeah. Rivarossi makes some detailed stuff, but they don't run as well as Bachmanns and other high-quality locomotives.

    Rivarossi Allegheny

And my bet would be on the Big Boy. sumpter, do you think they'd be willing to send me a kit to remotor my older Big Boy to run like these newer ones?

    Rivarossi Allegheny

Ionno about being better now, but they are back in business. Hornby recently aquired Rivarossi; Rivarossi was actually dead for a while there. I have a 4-8-8-4 from before Rivarossi went under and it runs well, though extremely loud due to an open frame motor. Of course, the newer ones will...

    G.E.C's layout pictures

^That is a good idea!^ I really like that idea, maybe detail them out to have little people all around them and put them on tracks that don't have power so any locomotives that accidently get sent that way stop before they reach the coaches?

    Your Favorite HO Scale Manufacturer?

And I'd like to rephrase something I said before. RIVAROSSI IS BACK! Yeah, you heard me! And the first three locomotives they released? A 2-10-2, a 2-6-6-6, and THE BIG BOY! Eat that.
