That's not entirely true, GEC. Because of the fact that all the caternary locos run off of the rails at this point, if you were to switch them over, they'd only need one rail. As long as that one was the common negative, you'd have no problem running both types.

That looks like one of EMD's export models...they were like about three feet shorter HEIGHTWISE than US locos...weird things... Then again, speaking of weird things... DD trucks under an SD45, and... U50-style BB span bolster trucks under a Dash 9-44CW. This is in Brazil, on...

If I'm not mistaken, Spongemike is looking for a full-size decal that he can slap onto a loco that will completely replace painting. Um. If so, I don't think anyone makes those, and besides, you'd lose so much detail on the loco, why would you not just paint it?

HO, all the way. I believe that there are a lot more steam locos out in HO than in N, probably due to the increased difficulty of getting the bars that small!

I personally have the Zephyr, and I'm somewhat disappointed. I have run my DC locos on a Digitrax Zephyr layout before and they run at almost full speed. I wired up my own Zephyr to a simple OVAL and the DC locos only move at about half speed. I do understand that the idea of "model"...
