I could find no indication about scale. The whole thing holds about 1 x 1.5 m I measured a door: 1.3 cm. Assuming that a real door is 210-230 cm high, it gives a scale of 1/160 or 1/170 (not sure of my calculation :oops: ) Joseph

Still glueing the skin to the hull... I wanted to show how I colour the edge of the glueing tabs. This way, no white will show even if the fit is not perfect...

Thank you Jim for the advices - it will surely help a lot. And thanks to Tino for sending me the pictures :) I've had no time lately, so I've only begun to glue the skin on the bottom of the hull. I stole from my daughter a marker that almost exactly match the color of the kit, I'm colouring...

Hi Barry, thank you for the advices :) The parts are printed on thin 80 g/m² paper. I laminated the formers on bristol, but it is not enough. Well, I'm learning! Joseph

the underwater part of the hull is simplified: the anti-torpedo zones are just represented by a black line...easier for me! And yes, it's the Arizona :wink:

I did not say it correctly: the aircraft wears markings that were introduced in 42-43 (I think), which are impossible because the ship was lost in 41. So, ... :roll: :?:
