    Going Merry from paper replika

Looks very nice! Good clean lines and color. And very cute.

USS SULACO by SKODA/ Jan Rükr / 1:320 Tuning

With the size it must be at, I'm not the least bit surprised. Cutting out tiny pieces, then bending and gluing them while not exhaling very heavily is fairly time consuming work.

    'Milla Migulia'

No, the truth is that we know that you actually WORK for them and are posting their production parts cleverly disguised as paper. It's a RUSE, a cover-up people! And the pyramids were made by aliens! And . . .and . . . and ELVIS IS ALIVE! And LIvng with JAnE MaNnsFieLd and maRilYn MoNnrOE...

    USS Cairo Test Build

I am really enjoying seeing this model come together. I have to say that the metal texture is really nice, gives a great impression. @Zathros- love it! So true. Too many people with blinders.

    Tiny Thunderfighter

I can feel your pain! I had a similar problem while working on the 1/72 torpedo. Picking up the propeller blades (yeah, those tiny, little yellow rectangles) with tweezers while not crushing them would cause them to jump through the air. One time it jumped of the table. Spent about 15...

UFO - 1970 British sf tv series

Wow . . . that takes me back! We watched that series when we lived in Canada in 71-72.

    Jedi ETA-2 by Paper-Replika

The Star Wars figures he has are listed as 3.5" Assuming an average of 6' reduced to 3.5" makes the scale about 1/20.

Funny, I thought the same thing about the shot of the front of the tank. :p

    Kooklic Type VIIC/41 with torpedoes!

I can't take credit for designing the torpedo, I am simply converting and re-texturing/re-painting a couple of existing 3d models to paper. I may design my own torpedo at some point as I'm not wholly satisfied with the existing one. The other contemplated interiors may or may not happen...

    Kooklic Type VIIC/41 with torpedoes!

I wanted to do something with my brother that would both be entertaining to us and would also encourage us to get together on a monthly basis. So I decided we should build a model. But what model? Armor is too costly and way beyond our masochism limits. Besides, we really like 1/72nd...

Aww, shucks! As my wife would say- You make blush so hard!

    USS Cairo Test Build

I have trouble imagining a model utilizing slots and tabs. I used to design corrugated (cardboard) displays, you know, the ones you see in the supermarket. WE used slot and tabs for just about everything, because it was cheaper than glue and the display always had to be shipped flat and...

Ohh! Put in the cockpit with labels in .00004 point type and optional magnifying glass. sign1

    Xenomorph

THat is GREAT! I really like the yellow "rotating" light, and the frantic blinking of the red bicycle light adds a nice touch. BTW using the bike light was a very clever idea.

    Building my own x-wing

Wow, this is VERY interesting. And tempting. I'm thinking of some lights for UHU's U-96 when I make it. It will have torpedoes, and I'm thinking about an interior to the conning tower, and possibly open hatches down to the control room with red night lights. And I'll enlarge to 1/72nd scale...

    Dust Tactics

I think that pretty much describes all the real armor of WWII. When you have German armor going at max speeds of 45kph, but more realistically more like 20kph on roads, and maybe 10-15kph off road, they aren't exactly nimble enough to evade air cover.

    Jedi ETA-2 by Paper-Replika

OK, so I've been a bit stalled on this for the past couple of weeks. Partly due to trying to figure out how I was going to do the canopies. My initial idea didn't pan out, but I think that I have that solved. So onward with what little progress has been made- Pieces for the small hull cut...

    USS Cairo Test Build

I have to admit that I'm not particularly interested in ironclads, but this one has piqued my interest. I like the treatment you are giving to the Cairo. The graphics are nice and clean, the assembly seems a good blend of simple cut & paste with elements of scratch building. Could serve as a...
