    how "complete" is your layout?

    Mine is 10% to 30% done. I have two an a 1/2 tables put up now and still waiting for the accessories to come in. Gettin more track and stuff for it some time during the week. I'll almost be done with it sometime next year. As for my G scale garden set up will have to wait.

    How do I seperate an Athearn....

    The plastic fillers are actually the plastic mounts for the engine's motor. I have these on my SD45 and on my two SD40-2's. You unscrew the screws at the couplers and slide them out through the ends. Then you can be able to remove the shell.:thumb:

    Steam and Diesel are in the lead! Personally I'll stick with steam. I don't know were this thread is headed to:confused: but I won't impose.

    I'm pretty shure it can. I tried it with the really hard coat paint thats printed on. Comes right off no sweat.

    I was told you put the pin sol in a container and let the car soak in it for 20 to 25 minutes, take it out and the paint should start to peel off. It usually works that way. Iv'e tried it.

    Those look like InterMountain Stack cars. You are lucky to get them at $17.00. Those things usually range from $65.00 All the way to $90.00. Great Deal:D

    I thought SCL merged with Family Lines to form Seaboard System Lines then Merging with Chessie System in 1985 forming CSX today. A.K.A (Chessie, Seaboard, Interlock). So Seaboard is more of the Predecessor of CSX than what I've heard. Thanks Though. It is very hard to find SAL Engines and...
