    Passenger cars - authenticity

Con Cor passenger were not road specific. They were all the same in any particular series, just different paint. Generic is the best word to describe them. Some fit perfectly since many roads bought similar Budd or other make cars. Doc

    Feeback Controllers

Well, I bought a couple at different times based on some "expert's" recommendation. Opened and tried one and found that it was not what it was promoted to be. So like some static display locos, they too are unused. That is why I am so happy with DCC. By setting the CV's I get all the feedback...

    Feeback Controllers

George, I tried several different feedback controllers in the early 90's. The only one I found that really worked, truly did maintain train speed, is a Gaugemaster which I obtained from Neal's N-gauging Trains. I eventually bought 4 hand helds and a panel mount. They works great, and I had spent...

Is N Scale Kato track good for a layout? Ideas???

Using UniTrack I have a room sized layout utilizing Unitrack in N scale. This is the third layout i've build (due to moves over the last 15 years). I am using the same Unitrack that I bought in 1991 and used on those layouts. Yes, some was unusable, but the majority is doing a great job. I...

Scenic & Relaxed Update - First Train Run!!!

When I expanded the layout the first time I went from the top loop out to the right and created a branch that returned to the bottom loop at the back. I did an over and under with the branch line and had some industry to switch. Later I came off the lower line to the left and had a branch that...

Scenic & Relaxed Update - First Train Run!!!

Looking good. I am kind of homesick. This is the first trackplan I used for my first layout. I expanded it over about 4 years with extensions off both sides. Your trackwork is beautiful. Nice work. Due to a couple of moves it is history. TexDoc
