The lower hull is completed. Now...the upper hull. I have a question for you Revell-Fan............ How you made the round forms of the upper hull. Do you have a Template or someting ? I need some tips for this one, with all the Windows and the lights, this will be quite complicated :confused:

If the parts must be perfectly square, I score with an old x-acto blade. I do not press to much and the edges are perfect. if the edges must be rounded, I score them with anything rounded with the radius I need like toothpick, rounded pen, marquer, glue stick.....anything rounded.

Thank's RF for the tips I already assembled the lower hull and this is how I do First, I cut and assembled the pieces 17-18-19. I cut a piece of form core board and glued with stick glue on the skeleton. I make sure that the tabs goes up to glue the body parts. That help me getting a solid...

Third engine and all the pièces of the ring completed !

Some computer problem......I'm back ! I completed 2/3 of the ring engine. For enhancement I printed the pieces several times on high quality paper. Before sticking thenew parts, I sanded the harshness to have the softest possible forms. I take an other set to make the détails. In summary...

I almost competed the engine. The next stage is the improvement and the détails. Some tips : I put some black electric tape Inside the piece where the light glow. It avoids seeing the light somewhere else that the place we want to see her.

Just a in........... I overscale about 1.75 the initial size of the parts. I will be able to add some lights in the cockpit and the engines :rolleyes:

I guys, I'm back again and started a new build. The BSG Colonial one. Like my other build, i love to do more than cut, mark and glue the parts. I love to add some détails and lights and this model will be challenging. I try to reproduce my construction like the pictures we found on the net...
