Next steps was to create the access tube that goes from the shuttle to whatever it docs with. My glue work is so sloppy here. Also my joint where the roof meets the back bulkhead overlaps and is ugly... Augh

Next we attach the body to the engine pylons, Huston... I mean Starfleet.... We have a problem. The entire frame is warped. the one pylon tip sits off level by more then half an inch, AUGH!!!!!!

My next build is going to be a bit more complex then the Space 1999: Communication Post. Its the Vulcan Sled Shuttle from the 1979. Its not an overly complicated model but it has its challenges. The frame is rather thin and very flimsy. I have this kit in styrene but I thought it would be cool...

I mean this in the most sincere way possible.... You're out of your mind! HAH! Where will you keep this when its completed? Its freaking HUGE!!!!
