Awesome, that reference will help a lot! I had about given up on working on this one. Anybody have any idea of the assembly sequence? For the figure? Scott

Dr Tetrodes attempt at Grey Hunters figure.

Zathros, my fingers are not small enough to do that! That is why the questions, how do you guys work small? Some more progress, I found an aluminum rod just the right size for the shoulder plates and used some low tack tape to hole it in place and then glue the feathered edges at the top...

Dr Tetrodes attempt at Grey Hunters figure.

Working on a few more sub-assemblies. The bolter was a bit fiddley to cut out, but I like how it went together. Still trying to figure out the method to get the shoulders to be rounded correctly. Any suggestions? I tried forming the yellow wolf's head, but, can not get the fingers to...

Dr Tetrodes attempt at Grey Hunters figure.

OK, forgot about a couple of things I did before I started taking pictures. Head and external and internal parts of the torso. Is it a good idea to use a shaft through the torso to the head for strength? Any ideas on how to do that? I mounted the head, temporarily on a shaft to no lose it...

    Astartes Figures

Hi, Love the builds. Did you have any assembly instructions? I have not found any in the Patoroch files I have. I would like to try these, but, not having any instructions, has stopped me. Scott ;-)

    Dr Tetrode's Valkyrie build.

It has been a journey! 11 months! I have had fun, and learned a LOT of new stuff. Not sure what is next, something small I think. This seems to be an older version of the file, so things were not easy to see. I have a newer version, so may try that. How is the documentation level? Too...

    Dr Tetrode's Valkyrie build.

Learning how to roll a tube. Tried a piece of wire, found it too big. Use a machine needle, and that worked. Wetting paper, helps too. Holy Bolter construction.

    Dr Tetrode's Valkyrie build.

Engines glued on. Warning, do not attempt to glue sub-assemblies together, when they should line up, while under the lingering influence of anesthesia! I missed getting the engines the same distance in the front, and did not notice until the glue had really dried. ;-( Test fitting...

    Dr Tetrode's Valkyrie build.

Tail assembly: Made an angle tool, out of a business card (blue) and cut the corners to match the angles off of the plans. I became the human clamp and glued each piece and held until dry enough.

    Dr Tetrode's Valkyrie build.

Begin the assembly of the tail. Found an issue with the width of the tail booms, too wide for the tail elevator. Hmmm.... Pad the sides with 2 layers of card stock on each, by cutting a little strip and gluing and trimming that. Now glue the elevatere in between the booms...

    Dr Tetrode's Valkyrie build.

Wing assembly. Added more thickness to the brackets that seem to hold the wing on, wanted more gluing surface, when I assemble to fuselage. OK, now balance, I forgot that Sudsy said to put weight in the nose when I assembled the cockpit. Center of gravity is behind where the landing...

    Abrams inspired 40K MBT (Patoroch)

Thank you for quick reply. Hmmm... 80# + 100# cover stock. I'll have to look, local. Type III shrinks? Hmmm. been using Type II titebond and have not noticed that. OK thanks for the heads up on shrinking. Scott ;-)

    Abrams inspired 40K MBT (Patoroch)

Awesome use of 3d printer, doing those treads. Hmmm..... I wonder what I could do with the Silohette Cameo. Oh, oh, another project! A couple of questions, what weight of card stock are you using to laminate with? It looks thicker than mine. Or are you laminating 3 layers? Another...
