Which link... Hm... I might just have to see if there isn't a file archived somewhere else (like my own hard drive) to donate to someone wanting to build one!
Thanks, glad you like how it's coming out.
I have an update! I finally got back to this model.... Last night's progress was on the antennas and the iconic triple lenses.
Using florist wire, I found the antennas a bit heavy for the card stock box they go into, so I ended up filling the container with hot glue after attaching the...
Now I'm going to need to follow this up there... Time to find a model... Or just build another BMP especially for that process. I've just been so distracted by my love Battlemechs and 3D printer lately.
Just got the results today, my Instructable is a Runner Up in the Paper Contest (2022)! So, I got one of the runner up prizes, which will be usefull for feeding this hobby!

So, I've finally created a tutorial based on my experiences in papercraft modeling since 2018 when I stumbled into Zealot tracking down the Patoroch models Silveroxide was building and posting on DakkaDakka...
Here we go, a quick break down of each mech. 3D printed mech is between a CGL injected molded Griffin and a Stratos Minis resin "Bullshark" (counts as Maurader)
Calvin, Urbanmech:
Hobbes, Highlander:
Suzie, Blackjack:
Moe, Awesome:
So, for my first paint ups of my 3D proxies... I decided to do something I'm unlikely to do with actual models.
Create a Sunday comic strip inspired lance... Watterson's World Defense Forces militia... Lead by Calvin and Hobbes.

...and where my 3D printing is presently focused!
So, I've 'retired' my starter box that I acquired in the late 90's. I had all the components still, and reloaded them into this box and put it on a high shelf for display only. After all, I now have the new Catalyst Game Labs Introductory box...

Washers... Or those annoying fasteners that come with furniture kits that are left over when you get the item built... Yeah, that'll make a good weight for the nose!
So, how did the contest go? Well, here are a few pictures of the field of competition, and how I fared individually in the results.
