One of the better jobs using tabs, that I've seen. I'm still against them, but if you're (in general) going to use tabs, this is the way to do it. :)

If this style is what you mean by "modular', well there are a lot of people who like that technique. They are easy to make, and very, extremely customizable, or as we say, easy to "greeble'.

One of my favorite past times is modeling ship hulls. I was an avid sailor for many years. Thnak you for posting an Introduction. What kind of sailing ship are you looking for? I'm sure you're aware of anything from a "Sharpie" or "Clinker built" ship could amount to a couple of days to many...

These set of pictures show impeccable workmanship. Seeing some of those parts laid out, they just don't seem like they can form the part made out of them. No seams, glue marks. This is top notch. :)

Every single engine on the Saturn V was made by hand and Tig welded together. About 9 years ago, NASA found an used Saturn V rocket. It was meticulously taken apart, and new blueprints were made. It seems that the old ones that are still around were not complete. End result, NASA 3D printed...

Those handlebars are (I believe) "Clubman Style". I used to ride with that style till I went to clip on, full on cafe racer. It was only when I replaced them I realized how bad they were for my bike.. Depends on the steering geometry, etc. They are still popular. :)
