(TIE Fighter) Sphere water shaping by DanBKing, in collaboration with Mijob

When I was 9 years old, I used to make Hot Rods out of paper, and plastic pieces I had left over from other models I tortured. I started water forming, as my Mom was an incredible cook, and had every possible shape you could need for a "buck" to lay a moistened shape on. I would cut wet...

    Project 54mm 40k (inquistor scale)

I think they came out great!! No steel will dissipate heat fast. You may want to set your cooling fan higher, to get rid of the strings. I don't know how fast you are printing them, feed, speed, printer head temperature all interact (otherwise it wouldn't work). Brass Nozzles dissipate heat...

    Sloop "Via Così" (Fabrizio Prudenziati)

This model is not easy as it needs certain parts reinforced, and unless you have built many ship models, you won't know where to do this. Your reinforcement of the deck with corrugated cardboard was spot on. That helps the boat keep it's shape. I think you are doing a great job on this model...

    Sloop "Via Così" (Fabrizio Prudenziati)

This model came out fantastic. I used to sail a 10 meter Pearson Sloop with a Marconi rig. Having been an avid sailor, I can tell you that your model is excellent and I would proudly display it. You might want to get a plastic box to cover it, as they are dust magnets. Also consider spraying...

    Sloop "Via Così" (Fabrizio Prudenziati)

I built this model once. It came out good, but when I was finished, I realized if I had cut out the cabin windows, put plastic instead, printed another sheet, and cut out other pieces to layer up, like the stainless steel around the windows, and the gauges, do the the fo'c'sle, and so many...

Hello from the Northwest Corner of the US

Welcome to Zealot! There are a lot of forums and websites that offer houses, buildings, and other buildings you can scale and use for your diorama. They are made of paper, but the potential to accessorize (we call it "greebling") these models to make them look more than flat boxes with...

    Locomotiva gr.691 (Fabrizio Prudenziati)

Sometimes the color starts to peel off the paper. That's why most people use Pigment Ink printers for their serious work. It's (Pigment Ink), also archival, and can last 100 years. ;)

    Alien(s) Narcissus by DanBKing

Another masterpiece in the making. I knew you'd be back. It's mighty fierce out there, and that hunger just comes up on you.....................I just watched "The Yearling" with Gregory Peck".... Seriously though, it's great to see one of your works happening here. :)

I just watched an A.I. generated 3 part video of the "Silmarillion". It was fantastic, but it has nothing on this thread. ;)

    Star Wars Marauder Corvette

Nice looking ship that deserves attention. You can greeble up the ship bu making multiple copies of the Hull and cutting out sections to raise up or lower, according to better pics. Not sure if this is the exact one, lots of variants. ;)
