I am sorry to announce that Gil Gerard has passed away today at 82.

Fortunately, I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting him in Medford, Oregon at Meadowlark Comicon, back in 2019.
He was a very kind person. I greatly enjoyed talking with him.

He seems very happy in that picture. He has left a great legacy and a large fandom behind him. May he rest in peace for ever and ever,, knowing he brought great joy into this world.
