I added another 1:43 scale car by M. Antonický.
This time it is the Škoda 130 LR.
Motorsport legends were also created in the relatively modest conditions of Czechoslovakia. The designers managed to create a car from an outdated Škoda that even much more powerful cars had trouble catching up to. Of course, if there was someone behind the wheel who knew how... This car was built for my favorite group B. The Škoda had only 130 horsepower, but weighed only 730 kg. The Škoda 130 LR was successfully homologated at the end of 1984 and in January of the following year it took its first start. At the Valašská zima Rally, it managed to take the first three places, and at the international 32nd Rally Akropolis, the crew in the composition of Křeček/Motl managed to win its class and finish in thirteenth place overall. At the famous San Remo Rally, the crew even managed to place in sixth place overall.
The biggest success, however, was the Marlboro Günaydin Turkish Rally in 1985. The Austrian crew arrived at the finish line in first place overall, leaving behind legends of their time, such as the Renault 5 Turbo, Peugeot 205 T16 or Audi Quattro A2. However, the career of the Škoda 130 LR was prematurely ended. After many tragic accidents, the FIA ??management decided to cancel Group B, and with it many racing specials retired. I modified the model very little - modified the grille, slightly modified the wheels, added a mat and made the car a little dirty. A few photos:
