New to the forum, saying hello. Some very talented people here. I can only hope my future projects come close to the things I've seen here. My main drive is to make SciFi props from my favorite movies and series. The more obscure the better. No ships or anything like that because were would that end? The goal is to be able to play a game of spot the prop, 1 point for the object and 1 point for the show to see who gets the most references. Yes I'm a geek.

I found the site following Dr Theolopolis which is on my to do list. Here's a couple of 3D printed things I've put together.

Hello and welcome to this forum its a great place to be. You have made some intresting props and I'm looking forward to see your next project.

Hello and welcome you to Zealot!

You have come to the right place for all things paper/cardstock, and to build and hone your skills. The members here are very helpful.

Many of the members are SCI-FI geeks (myself included). So, I hope that you feel at home here.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, need help or advice. Please feel free to ask and we will do what we can to help you (or at least point you in the right direction).

When you start a new project, please post a build thread. Build threads are a great way of show off your work and skills. Not only that, but if you run into an issue with a model you can highlight the area that you are having problems with and we can offer you some suggestions on how to deal with them.

Once again, welcome aboard. I hope that you enjoy yourself here. I look forward to seeing your work.

Well @endbit , the light-Bee from Red Dwarf, as to the little tracked fella, I can't quite place that...

Welcome, and we look forward to more obscurity

Awesome Starbug model there. I'm totally jealous of the autographs as well. Middlesex would have been a bit of a trip form South Australia though. The tracked fellow is the pass the butter robot from Rick and Morty. It's built on top of a RC tank chassis so you can actually drive it around and look out the main camera on your phone.

A few friends and myself got to see two episodes recorded, which were Gunmen of the Apocalypse & Polymorph - thus the autographs were obtained in the bar of Shepperton Studios.
The Starbug is not really a model, but a toy which opens up into a playset and has a few playable features with sound clips.

I have watched Rick & Morty, but there's so much going on in each episode its always worth rewatching to see the things you miss.

What tank and camera set-up do you have? it would make for an interesting overview on here.
