Here's the finished model. Again, another learning experience. I had fun doing it too, one of my favorite movie spaceships.

One thing I've noticed while working on this ship is that improvisation is needed sometimes, especially if some pieces don't fit right. Like with this one, I find myself just chopping off the flaps in order to make something fit better. The rocket nozzles on this ship are good examples of...

Got the first of the engine assemblies on it. Now that I'm caught up on the proper scale version, I can post more updates. Got my eyes on a new printer, and some 11x17 120lb cardstock for future projects.

Looks like I have to start this thing over. Seems I printed it at the wrong scale and it's made some pieces too small to even work with. The top and bottom will have to be printed on 3 seperate pages and then joined. I'll post more pics as I progress..

I got the Arrow 4 Booster standing by for assembly once the Icarus is assembled. Neat how Icarus is on top of the booster instead of inside it (like the movie version of the Jupiter 2).

Very nice looking for this seriouly overlooked, appeared only once Star Trek prop. Can't wait to put this one together.
