I write, illustrate, and publish science fiction novels. I got into card modeling as a way to block out scenes for my writing, but then I became interested in card modeling itself. I do book design, including both interiors and covers. I make models of geometric solids and marine craft (boats and WIG aircraft). I design and sew costumes using related skills. Generally I start a design of clothing by making it out of paper and tape initially before making a muslin. Sometimes I work in wood and I make jewelry using wire work and marlinspike(knots and ropes) work.
