So I just experienced a once in a life time event that is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! The Solar eclipse passed right over Oregon. I live in Independence (just south of Salem). My family and I were able to see the totality (at about 10:17 am pst) of the eclipse. Granted the totality only lasted for about 2 minutes, but it was AMAZING!!!

THIS LOOKS FANTASTIC!!! This is a very spectacular picture! Almost like a black hole in the sky. A few weeks ago we had a full moon eclipse but unfortunately the weather was so bad that we were unable to see anything. The picture reminds me of what I am having the Galactica crew experience in my fan fiction story "Exodus, Part 2" (yaknow, the scene I told you about, when the crystal "got hot"..! hint, hint!) ..! ;)

To get good ISO certified solar shade 15 glasses I had to order 25 of 'em. Luckily I got them cheap... I ended up giving away 15 pair :-)
 
We got to see a fart's version of the eclipse compared to what you saw. Funny thing is I can still see it!! (Bad joke). You really did see something awesome, great pictures.
 
My pics were from near Wilmington, NC.

There is no way I'm going to put a product up to my eyes and look at the sun. Too many failure opportunities for me to trust them. I understand ISO, but I also understand manufacturing and selling, especially on low price items that are in very high demand.
