This is a lesson that I found out the hard way as well. Inkjet printers are well worth the investment (on so many different levels). Even if you can find a good refurbished inkjet printer, you would be far better off with it then that of a laser jet printer.

Fortunately, our house has cnteral AC. Yes, I do limit my "outdoor" exposure as much as possible.

Many of the same techniques are easily transferable from one hobby (or material) to another. You may have to tweek the process slightly to fit your specific needs. However, videos like this are woth their weight in gold.
